GT Dynamic Trading Program
Overview
Strategy: Trend Following
Sectors: Energies, Metals, Financials, Grains
Minimum Investment: $150,000 or $75,000 cash notionally funded as $150,000
The GT Dynamic Trading Program focuses on trading E-mini S&P 500 futures contracts. GT Capital CTA’s ("GT Capital") trading approach and program is designed to go against the crowd by attempting to anticipate trader psychology at market turning points. Simply put, if the market has fallen GT Capital will wait until selling is exhausted and short sellers would likely buy back their positions with new buyers coming into the market. The opposite would hold true for establishing short positions. The idea is to establish long positions at the point where bulls are taking control from bears and enter short positions when bears are taking control from the bulls. Computerized trading signals suggest trades, while the decision to take them is discretionary, based on GT Capital's fundamental and technical evaluation of the markets as well as intuitive feel.
The minimum account trading size is $150,000, but will accept $75,000 cash notionally traded as $150,000.
GT Dynamic Day Trading Program ("GTDT")
Overview
Strategy: Trend Following
Sectors: Energies, Metals, Financials, Grains
Minimum Investment: $75,000 or $35,000 cash notionally funded as $75,000
The GT Dynamic Day Trading Program (“GTDT”) is exclusively available through Vision. GTDT trades according to the same principles as the GT Dynamic Trading Program, but on a shorter time frame and uses only futures. The market data is analyzed on an intraday basis and only day trades primarily E-mini S&P 500 futures contracts.
The minimum account trading size for GTDT is $75,000 or $35,000 cash notionally funded as $75,000. Clients with GTDT accounts funded with less than $250,000 are required to maintain their accounts exclusively with Vision.
Please be advised that trading futures and options involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors. There are no guarantees of profit no matter who is managing your money. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results. Due to the day trading nature of the programs compared to other programs that are longer term in nature, a larger number of trades may be executed and this will lead to a proportionally higher amount of commissions and fees paid by the customer.
GT Capital CTA has been registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission ("CFTC") as a Commodity Trading Advisor ("CTA") since May 2009, and has been a member of the National Futures Association ("NFA") since that date.
